[Company name] operates Sekushi. This policy says what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We collect as little as the service needs: there are no accounts.

What we collect

  • A random session identifier stored in your browser, so a purchase can unlock content in that browser. It is not linked to your name.
  • Three usage events: that a free episode was watched to its end, that the paywall was clicked, and that a purchase completed. Each carries the session identifier, the series, the episode, and a timestamp. We use them to understand whether the free episode leads to a purchase, in aggregate.
  • Purchase records held by our payment processor under its own privacy policy: the amount, the time, and the processor’s reference. We do not receive your full card number.
  • Server logs with IP addresses and request details, kept briefly for security and reliability.
  • Your age confirmation, stored in your browser so you are not asked on every visit.
  • Your agreement to the terms: we record which version of the terms you accepted and when, at the age gate or at checkout, with the session identifier and, at checkout, the purchase reference, but no IP address or browser details.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data, run advertising trackers, or build profiles. We do not collect your name, email, or location beyond what the processor needs for the payment and what a server log necessarily contains.

Cookies and storage

The service uses a signed access cookie for purchased content and browser storage for the session identifier, resume positions, and the age confirmation. None of these is used for advertising.

Retention

Usage events are kept for up to 24 months in aggregate form. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law require.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal data about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because we hold no account, tell us the session identifier from your browser and we will act on data linked to it. Write to [contact email].

Children

The service is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
